Two ways to play, one sunny safari
Each mode has its own 96 levels, its own stars, scores and progress, so you can switch whenever you like.
SWAP mode
Drag a tile onto a neighbouring tile to line up three or more of the same colour. Match four or more, or make an L or T shape, to create a special tile.
POP mode
Tap any group of two or more connected same-coloured tiles to pop them all at once. Bigger groups create special tiles.

Combos: fire two specials together for a bigger blast. Two Drums make a giant cross, two Coconuts a huge blast, and two Rainbow Flowers clear the entire board.

Boosters, moves and stars
Boosters on the log
Stuck? Drop a Drum, Coconut or Rainbow Flower onto the board, or roll the Shuffle Dice. The four boosters on the wooden log never cost a move.
Earn stars, unlock more
- Every level gives you a fixed number of moves.
- Finish all objectives for one star, and beat the score targets for two or three.
- Stars unlock the next batch of levels.
- Moves you have left over become bonus rockets at the end of a win.
I'm out of hearts. What now?
Losing or quitting a level costs one heart. You have up to five, and one heart comes back every 30 minutes, even while the app is closed. If you'd rather not wait, the Unlimited Hearts pass removes the heart cost for 24 hours. Winning a level never costs a heart.
What is the Unlimited Hearts pass, and does it renew?
It is a one-time in-app purchase that gives you unlimited hearts for 24 hours from the moment you buy it. It is not a subscription and never renews automatically. When it runs out you simply go back to the normal five hearts. Everything else in Targu Match is free.
Can I restore the Unlimited Hearts pass on another device?
No. The pass is a consumable, so it is tied to the device it was bought on and to the 24 hours after purchase. If a purchase failed but you were still charged, contact Apple Support for a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why can't I play the next level?
Levels unlock in groups of four as you collect stars. Replay earlier levels and aim for two or three stars to open the next group. Each page of 16 levels needs 40 stars from the previous page before it opens.
SWAP and POP show different progress. Is that a bug?
No. Each mode has its own 96 levels and its own stars, scores and unlocks. Switch modes with the two cards at the top of the level map.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. The game is fully playable offline. When you are online, the app checks for updated level packs at start-up so new levels can arrive without an App Store update.
Will I lose my progress if I delete the app?
Yes. Progress, stars and hearts are stored only on your device, and there are no accounts or cloud sync. Deleting the app removes them. Reinstalling starts you from level 1.
Is Targu Match suitable for children?
Yes. There are no ads, no chat, no accounts and no data collection. The only purchase is the Unlimited Hearts pass, which goes through Apple's standard purchase flow and respects Screen Time and Ask to Buy settings.
How do I turn the music off?
Flip the silent switch on the side of your iPhone. The music and sound effects follow it. A separate in-app sound setting is planned for a future update.
The board reshuffled by itself. Why?
If no legal move is left, the board reshuffles automatically so you are never stuck. This does not cost a move.
Which devices are supported?
Targu Match runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later, in portrait orientation.
Your data stays yours
Targu Match does not collect, store or share any personal data.
- There are no accounts, sign-ins, ads, analytics or tracking of any kind, and no third-party SDKs.
- Your progress, stars and hearts are saved only on your device.
- When online, the app downloads level definition files from our server. This is an ordinary web request and sends no information about you. Like any web server, ours may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) for a short period for operational purposes.
- In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
- The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from children.
